Why all Businesses & Professionals Should Belong

Case #3: I CAN’T JOIN NOW. MAYBE LATER.

The Chamber of Commerce will work with you to structure a payment plan that works with your business and the realities of your monthly cash flow.

Case #7: IT’S RUN BY AN ELITE GROUP THAT DOESN’T UNDERSTAND MY BUSINESS

The members of the Metuchen Area Chamber of Commerce govern the organization under a set of bylaws under which they hold an  election of new officers each year. The people who comprise the Board of Directors have assumed that responsibility by a vote of the  entire membership. They represent a wide cross section of  business interests.

Case #8: MY BUSINESS IS TOO SMALL

One way to make it larger is to join and support the Chamber of Commerce. As Metuchen grows, so does business. And as business increases, so do your business and professional activities. As our town grows and prospers, so does your business.

Case #9: I ALREADY BELONG TO TOO MANY LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS

The Metuchen Area Chamber of Commerce is unique. The Chamber is the only organization of its kind that is consistently and exclusively engaged in activities to advance and promote general growth, prosperity and integrity in our community.

Case #10: I WAS A MEMBER ONCE & DIDN’T GET ANYTHING OUT OF IT

You may not feel you benefited, but indeed you did. For every dollar you put into membership, you received several in return. The  Metuchen Area Chamber of Commerce has helped to secure new industries and new businesses and has assisted in the development of  local enterprises and the promotion of your business, either directly or indirectly. We are actively seeking new developments, new  business and new industry, and the promotion of our town as a growing community, any one of which will bring you very material  benefits.

Case #11: THE CHAMBER ONLY RUNS EVENTS. THEY DON’T DO THINGS THAT HELP MY BUSINESS

The Chamber is an organization whose sole purpose is for the good of Metuchen. Events are only one piece of what the chamber brings to business. The Chamber advocates on behalf of  your business with our local government. We provide you with many promotional opportunities to highlight your business through the  Chamber Connection newsletter, event sponsorships, Chamber website listing and business directory to name just a few.
